I happened to catch an episode of “Pregnant in Heels” today. I guess what compelled me to keep watching it even after I found out what show it was, was really the stupidity of it all. But then I am sure that is why they make “reality shows”. Have you ever seen this show? Since it was my first time watching it I really didn’t know what to expect. What I got was an episode of watching people who have more money then brains. Seriously, did you have a pregnancy concierge? Would you actually need or want one? I think not!
So this couple could not decide what to name their baby. Their pregnancy concierge organized a “think tank” with the parents and some people and they went over the names (or came up with some) and gave opinions (huh? Really?). Ok, whatever. But then they gathered a census group to give THEIR opinions of the names and pick the top 3 they liked the best. The one name the parents really liked it seemed everyone hated. As they said, the census group shook them to their core. Seriously, it is YOUR kid, you like a name, use it. Does it really matter what the entire world thinks of it? Or, just do like I did and give your child a traditional name. They weren’t convinced of the census groups opinons so they had to have a meeting of atleast 10 of their best buds to give their opinions. Again, they hated the name the parents liked the most and went with one of the names the census group picked lol.
I know what your asking?? So what did they name the kid? After all the name shit they went through they named the kid Bowen (the name they liked, but most everyone hated LMAO (could’ve saved some money on the pregnancy concierge there) and Asher for the middle name (or something like that – which was the name the census group picked).
OMG!! That is 30 mins I will NEVER get back!! (oh NOOOOOO, maybe the show was an hour long???).
Well…….I did get a blog post out of it, so not all was lost 
About the only thing I like about winter is that (to me), it means soup weather (although it’s great anytime of year). Also for my New Years resolution I am trying to eat healthier. New Years Eve is fast approaching and what a perfect time for making a new Chex Mix recipe or an old favorite. I recently held my own Chex Mix Party making the new Lemon Buddies recipe. They really are as good as the look. For New Years I plan to make the Chex Apple Pie snack mix, I can’t wait. Have some last minute Christmas shopping to do? That is not a problem with eGift Social. This is a cool site and Facebook app that lets you sent gifts and/or gift cards to friends and family.
How does eGift Social Application work?
The first step is to select a merchant. Once a merchant is selected, you may add friends to whom you wish to give a gift. You decide if you would like to send the gift to your friend via Facebook, email or both.
You may then select any of the merchant’s products to give to your friends. When finished, you will proceed to checkout, where all major credit cards are accepted.
I received a gift from eGift Social for this review. I got an email saying I had been sent a gift, in my case the gift came from Sephora. All I had to do was print out my email and take it to my local Sephora where they gave me my gift. I also tried out eGift social by giving a Christmas gift to my friend Shan. Right now there is about 9 merchants to pick from, but I know they will be adding more merchants in time. I looked through the merchants and the gifts they offered, I picked who I wanted to give a gift to and what I wanted to give, added a greeting/note to it and checked out. When I was finished I received a confirmation email. That was it, easy peasy. And since it is a Facebbok app, you can use your web enabled phone to send gifts too. The person you are sending the gift to will be notified by email or by Facebook (your choice) that they have received a gift. Yes, the recipient does have to go to the merchant (their local store) to pick up the gift, but when I was notified of my gift I had no issues with going to get the gift myself.
I think eGift Social is a novel idea. It is quick and easy to do. You can use eGift Social for any occasion and it’s convenient for last minute gift giving, like if someones birthday creeps up on you and you forgot to get them something. There is nothing to “order”, so no shipping charges and no waiting. eGift Social is something I know I will use again. There are a few days till Christmas left, give it a try too.

Johnson’s baby oil products aren’t just for babies, cause us moms like them too. I have dry skin, especially living in a dry climate like Arizona. There are several Johnson’s baby oil products that help me keep my skin soft and silky feeling.

Mozaik is plasticware (hard to believe by the picture). This is the most beautiful plasticware I have ever seen. I was quite impressed actually. I mean from a distance you really can’t tell it is plasticware. If you touch or pick up the plates or silverware then you’ll know it is plastic, and you’d probably be surprised. I love anything disposable since I have kids and I hate to do dishes. If you have company over Mozaik looks so much nicer (by a long shot) then paper plates. Mozaik is also nice and strong. Nothing is going to leak through it and you can cut a nice piece of meat without putting a hole in your plate. Mozaik looks so nice you may want to use it again. Not only is it disposable, it is reusable too. Just wash it up to use again. Mozaik only cost a little more then paper plates but the impression you’ll make on your guest will be priceless.
