Week one is done, yippee. Okay, only a lifetime more of weeks to go LOL. This week went really well. I did my Winsor Pilates everday except Friday which I took for my day of rest. The Winsor Pilates schedule gives you two days of rest but like I said, I did more. I did a minimum of 20 mins a day, which is what most of the videos are. I love pilates because they are low impact but you feel like you have actually done something. Another thing I like is that you can feel the exercises and even though a day or two later your abs or legs may feel a tad sore they don’t feel totally sore as if you killed yourself at the gym.
I have also been eating better and drinking lots of Aquafina water (only kind I’ll drink). Having my oatmeal for breakfast, salad for lunch, a few healthy snacks during the day and for dinner I eat what I want, but in moderation. The two things I can’t get rid of are my Pepsi and coffee though. The coffee wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t load it with milk and sugar….ouch. Ha, I need something to make life worth living, don’t I?
When I started I took my measurements. I only did measurements for my waist, abdomin, hips and both thighs. My grand totals are……
- Lost 2.5 lbs
- Lost 6.5 inches, whoo hoo!! I like that.
I am definately motivated to keep going. Of course the more you have to lose the more you’ll see results in the begining. I have about 10 to 15 lbs I would like to lose. Technically I am within my “medically healthy weight” and my BMI is within normal range. However I do need to tone up a lot and I would like my jeans to fit better and lose my muffin top, as I always wear low rise jeans.
Right now I do believe I am on the right path and very happy with my first week. If your working out and trying to get in shape for your health or just for bikini season, how is it going for you?

I have been wanting to try Windsor Pilates for a while now. I like yoga too. Are the exercises easy to do correctly? I have heard that pilates is all about the proper posture and if you don’t get it right, you don’t get the real benefit of it.

I too just started this program with the Accelerator and so far I like it a lot. I know first hand how well pilates works at making you tone and fit. I have the Winsor Circle CD’s and used to do them all of the time (until the Cd’s became scratched) and was the most toned I had ever been in my life! I have done this new one for only 3 days now and already see and feel a difference, albeit a slight one. Good luck!
