Around the campfire

Living in an RV is like living in a closet of a big house.  We are always in each others faces or running into one another.  The kids are always “right there” and I feel like I never get a break.  No matter what I say, how I say it or what I do they seem to have no concept of what an indoor voice is either.  I feel like we are the loudest camper in the park (as I am sure we really are).  Yes, I know I have 3 boys and I guess they are just being “boys”, but can’t they do it quietly?

Noise actually stresses me out, loud noise anyway.  it makes me tense, hyper and jittery.  Just the constant ear piercing yelling, screaming, fighting and so on is enough to make me want to rip my hair out.

I worry that people are walking by and thinking, “what the hell is going on in that RV over there”?  When my kids are running through it like crazy animals and the RV is shaking on the inside like an earthquake,  I Really do not want to know what that looks like from the outside  lol.  Well, dh isn’t home so they can’t blame the shaking on us! (that is a whole other topic that will probably never be blogged about here).

Speaking of dh, his job in Maryland will be done this Tuesday or Wednesday so he will either be home Thanksgiving or the day after.  Then the following Monday he will start a new job with the same company about an hour from here.  It will be a long commute but we aren’t going to transfer the kids in the middle of the school year.  This is a five year contract for the company so just maybe this time we will be lucky and dh can be in one spot for a while.

My parents are moving and setting things up in their new house!!  They just got new carpet throughout and some hardwood flooring.  I can’t wait to see it when I visit at Christmas.  I wish I was there to help them out cause I know my mom would appreciate it.  I could make you sit through my whole rant about how I love AZ and wish I was back there instead of  here living in an RV but I won’t.  Enough said.
